			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here&#8217;s a great video from Mike Koenigs of <a href="http://www.trafficgeyser.com/cmd.php?af=707811">Traffic Geyser</a> describing what they call the &#8220;10 x 10 x 4&#8243; system. It boils down to this:</p>
<p>1. Create 10 &#8220;little&#8221; videos each promoting some aspect of your product or service. He suggests doing a 10 part FAQ (questions your prospects would like answers to). Each questions gets a video. Keep them short. I would say about a minute at most. There&#8217;s nothing sacred about the number 10 here. It just means &#8220;create a bunch&#8221; &#8211; the more the better.</p>

<p>2. Create 10 more &#8220;little&#8221; videos that answer the &#8220;should&#8221; questions. These are the questions they should be asking but don&#8217;t know to ask.  Yea, I know, the distinction between the first 10 and the 2nd 10 is not too clear. But it just means this: give them more information&#8230;stuff they don&#8217;t know, to establish that you know what you&#8217;re talking about.</p>
<p>3. Then Create 4 more &#8220;little&#8221; videos for your capture system:</p>
<p>Video 1 &#8211; &#8220;To Get More, Go Here&#8221; video &#8211; this will be tacked onto each of your 20 videos. You say, &#8220;If you like this video, I&#8217;ve got 20 more at this location. Go here to get them (sign up).&#8221;</p>
<p>Video 2 &#8211; &#8220;Sign Up Here&#8221; video &#8211; The first one sends them to this one. This one pitches them on how to get the rest of the videos. It&#8217;s a lead capture pitch video.</p>
<p>Video 3 &#8211; &#8220;Thanks for Signing Up&#8221; video &#8211; This goes on your &#8220;thank you&#8221; page which comes up after they sign up. It says &#8220;Thanks for signing up. The first video is on its way&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>Video 4 &#8211; &#8220;Buy My Stuff&#8221; video &#8211; This is a pitch for your product(s). This can be used wherever you think it is appropriate. </p>]]></content:encoded>

<p> Joe Whyte created a <a href="http://www.searchenginejournal.com/guide-to-video-marketing-on-youtube/6381/">Guide to Video Marketing on Youtube</a> a couple of months ago and has some very good information. One of the things he focuses on is the importance of <strong>building your Youtube profile</strong>. As with all social sites, the more &#8220;friends&#8221; and followers you have, the more exposure your posts and comments are going to get &#8211; since there are ways of spreading the word to your little community (&#8221;sharing&#8221;) every time you add something to your profile.</p>
<p>He also suggest you use your friend and contact lists on other sites like Digg, StumbleUpon and Twitter to notify them when you&#8217;ve posted a new video.</p>

<p>It seems odd to me that Wilson mentions two important web hosting services, but does not mention the free web-hosting services provided by the major video-sharing sites (such as Youtube, Revver, etc.) There&#8217;s no doubt that the inclusion of <a href="http://www.screencast.com">screencast.com</a> is important because if you are doing screen captures &#8211; especially using Camtasia &#8211; most video sharing sites I have tried do not handle these videos adequately at all.</p>
<p>The reason is that Camtasia uses its own special codec which results in excellent quality video. But when you upload this to a site like Youtube, it gets converted into a different format and is published in a much smaller size. Unless you design your screen capture from the beginning for this smaller size it will be pretty ineffective when Youtube, etc. get through with it.</p>
